Crowns & Bridges

Our teeth are made up of enamel, dentin and pulp. The outermost layer of teeth that is visible to us is the enamel. When it cracks, decays, or breaks off, a ceramic or metal crown may be necessary if it is impossible to fill the tooth. The crown covers the entire tooth and restores it back to its functional size and shape.

Treatment for

  • Decayed, chipped or broken teeth

  • For vital teeth, your gums will first be numbed with local anaesthesia in order to minimize any pain or discomfort.
  • Your tooth will then be shaped to precise proportions with before an impression of it is taken and your crown is fabricated.

Treatment Time

  • A single visit using E4D machines or 2-3 visits for conventional treatment (not including consultation)

  • i.Dental’s Planmeca CAD/CAM and Milling machine allows patients to have their crowns done within three hours in a single visit, instead of 2-3 visits and 1 week to fabricate at regular dentists.

Bonding is typically used to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth.
