Advanced Technology. Reasonable Rates.

i.Dental believes that the best technology should be used to complement the expertise of our dentists towards delivering high quality care. Provided as a value-add to our patients, any incurred costs are absorbed by the clinic, ensuring higher fees are not levied on patients for the enhanced service.

Advanced Laser Technology: No Pain & Downtime

Less Pain & Discomfort

With laser, you experience minimal pain and vibrations both during and after procedures without the need for anesthesia as compared to the drill or scalpel. There is also no whining noise, making treatment for children ideal.

No Downtime

Due to laser’s post-operative characteristics such as reduced pain, swelling, infections & bleeding, patients can enjoy swift & fuss-free healing.

Better precision, quicker procedure

Laser energy cuts teeth with greater precision, while producing neither heat nor uncomfortable vibrations. Procedures are performed quickly and efficiently thus requiring less time at the dentist.

Effective Treatment

Laser technology preserves sound tooth structure while removing decay, prevents bacterial contamination by killing germs, and protects teeth against recurrent decay. And promise almost zero infection.

LightWalker® by Fotona

At i.Dental, we use advanced laser technology like our recently acquired LightWalker® by Fotona. Different dental procedures require different laser wavelengths and this laser machine comes with dentistry’s two most effective laser wavelengths. As such, practically all laser-assisted dental treatments can be performed with this laser machine. With greater precision, while producing neither heat nor uncomfortable vibrations, procedures are performed quickly and efficiently and post-operative healing is much faster. As compared to the drill or scalpel, LightWalker® also provides more comfort for patients as pain and bleeding are minimal, if any. It also does not emit whining noises that irritate and disconcert patients, allowing greater acceptance by patients, especially children.

Scan Technology

iTero Element Intraoral Scanner

The iTero Element Scanner is a state-of-the-art digital impression system that eliminates the need for messy putty in your mouth. Not only is a digital impression more comfortable, it’s also much more accurate. With our iTero Element Scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your teeth and gums. Once the scan is complete, your dentist will then have a 3D model of your mouth that can be used with all Invisalign® services, including the Invisalign Outcome Simulator to show you what your new smile might look like.

Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT)

i.Dental is among the first few clinics to invest in the award-winning Planmeca CBCT, a high quality x-ray system that provides a high clarity, HD vision of the patient’s dental, facial and skeletal profile in a 360° view in an ‘all-in-one’ capture exposure using the lowest dosage of radiation available.

The “one-shot” difference

X-ray captures and transfers to the dental chair is possible within split seconds where patient and dentist can simultaneously view the x-ray images and reduce exposure time and the risk of retakes. This seamless integration and connectivity from the point of diagnosis to the point of delivery conveniently shortens much time needed to be spent in the clinic. Image quality is also optimised due to the minimisation of image distortion common to most other scanning cephalometric technologies.

CADCAM 3D Scanner & Milling Machine

i.Dental invests in the latest CADCAM 3D Scanner & Milling Machine that scans the contours of your teeth and gingival structures, producing an accurate digital orthodontic scan, and designs and mills crowns instantly in just minutes.

This eliminates taking uncomfortable impressions, improving accuracy of data capture and significantly improving patient’s comfort. In turn, your next appointment can be sped up as our dentist will be able to get real-time feedback and highly detailed images for optimal treatment planning almost immediately.

Intra-oral Camera

To facilitate better visualisation of dental problems, i.Dental employs the intra-oral camera, a small probe-like camera, that is moved around the inside of patients’ mouth. Captured images will be then transferred over to a computer screen in the treatment room for viewing. This painless, no radiation technique allows anyone to see and understand their surface dental problems such as worn-out, defective fillings, fractured teeth, decay, bleeding gums,  and be prepared to seek treatment and have their teeth restored back to optimal health.

Dental Microscope

i.Dental also adopts the use of microscope in performing dental treatments. With up to 20 times optical magnification, our dentists can now detect even the most obscured of all problems as well as provide treatments with the utmost precision and accuracy.

What dentists see through the microscope can be linked to a monitor enabling patients to see and better understand their dental conditions and the treatments being carried out. Microscope use has significantly reduced uncertainties in dentistry, but more importantly has allowed us to treat patients’ conditions previously deemed to be impossible. Almost all dental procedures can benefit from using a microscope.

i.Dental uses RECIPROC®, the simpler, safer and faster way to successfully prepare root canals, even those with difficult anatomies, whilst complying with the highest quality dental requirements and producing optimum results.

Apex Locator

Successful root canal therapy requires accurate location of the apical foramen. i.Dental uses an apex locator in conjunction with radiography, in many cases, as an additional measure to ensure proper determination of canal length.

The revolutionary Protaper system that provides greater safety and efficiency in root canal preparation and procedures. Protaper rotary files are designed to instrument difficult, highly calcified and severely curved root canals.
