Your dentist is interested in more than just your teeth. Your facial profile, your bone structure of your head and how you chew, breathe and speak are just some of the things your dentist studies very carefully. The goal is to find the best harmony between all of these factors, so they will work well together.

A number of scientific resources are utililized when designing a specific treatment plan for you.

Photographs

Full face and profile photographs are taken to show the relationship between your nose, lips and chin.

Models

Plaster models of your mouth are made so that your dentist can measure your tooth size, how your teeth fit together and determine how much space is going to be needed in the future. These models enable your dentist to work out the details of your treatment even when you are not in the clinic.

X-Rays

X-rays will be taken of your head and your teeth. These x-rays will reveal your bone structure and how your teeth fit together.

Computer Simulation

Your x-rays are analysed by our in-house computer software, where the dentist will make tracings which show key anatomical points. He will be able to explain to you the results of the computer analysis, discuss your treatment plan while also giving an idea how you will look like before and after treatment. These are all carried out during your second appointment.
