What is the treatment process like?

Your Invisalign treatment will consist of a series of aligners that you switch out about every two weeks. Each aligner is individually manufactured with exact calculations to gradually shift your teeth into place. Each Invisalign aligner is custom-made for your teeth. Invisalign is the best way to transform your smile without interfering with your day-to-day life.

Step 1: Consultation

During the initial visit, our dentist will help you decide on your course of treatment. He will take photos, x-rays and bite impressions of your teeth and send them, along with a set of precise instructions, to Invisalign headquarters in the United States

Step 2: Aligner manufacturing

Invisalign® uses "ClinCheck®", advanced 3-D computer imaging technology, to depict the complete treatment plan from the initial position to the final desired position from which a series of custom-made "Aligners" are produced. There may be as many as 48 in the series or as few as 10, depending on your individual treatment plan

Step 3 Receiving Aligners

During your next visit in a few weeks, you will receive your first set of Aligners. We will most likely give you a few additional sets for you to wear before you return for your next visit.

Step 4 Wearing Aligners

You'll wear each set of Aligners day and night for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Replace each Aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move little by little, millimeter by millimeter, until they have straightened to the final position. Total treatment time averages 9-24 months, but will vary from case to case. You’ll visit us only about every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.

Step 5 Completion

When you've finished wearing each Aligner in the series, your treatment will be complete and you will have the beautiful smile you've always wanted
